Kent Ruppert

Kent began his career with State Farm Insurance Company in August of 1979 in Tempe, Arizona after his honorable discharge from the United States Army 2 months prior. The first 10 years of his career were spent in Tempe Arizona, and then he and his family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to help open the new operations center there. During his tenure at State Farm, Kent spent 28 years in Auto Claims and 10 years in Data Processing. During his tenure with Data Processing, Kent worked a variety of jobs dealing with mainframe, micro and personal computers. Kent attended the North American College of Data Processing and learned Basic, Cobol and RPG2 programming languages. He used the knowledge gained there to write many applications for the personal computers used in different departments at State Farm.

During his 28 years in Auto Claims, Kent worked as an Auto Estimator, Select Service Inspector, Property Claim Trainer and finally Trainer. Kent completed the requirements necessary to become a Korn Ferry certified Corporate Trainer in 2016. Kent trained hundreds of estimatics employees during his career as a trainer. 

Kent retired from State Farm in August of 2017 on his 38th anniversary with the company. At that time, he partnered with Roger Cada and Scott Ellegood at Accountable Estimating. Kent has a strong passion for the collision repair industry. His desire to see the industry improve and succeed is what motivates him every day. Kent’s focus is on the ultimate goal of making sure that repaired vehicles are returned to the safety and functionality the OEM intended. This is the only way to ensure that the consumers are safe in their vehicles after they are repaired.
